grace's birthday party

Grace's party fit her perfectly this year.  I thought about what she would like the most out of anything, the answer was pretty easy.  I know all children love sweets and candy, but I have never seen a child get SO excited over the smallest sweet.  Pretty much she takes after me. :)  That's why Grace's Sweet Shoppe was perfect to help us celebrate her two year mark.
All the work was worth it seeing her squeal for joy!  She loved every minute.
Here are a few details of the big day...

her party invitation.

I've been eyeing down these ruffle cakes on pinterest for awhile, this was my first attempt.  It is far from perfect, but I was really excited about it.  I love a good ruffle. :)
I will definitely be making one of these again soon.  It makes me happy.
We decided to keep the party small this year, I read somewhere a good rule is to keep the number of guests around the child's age so they aren't too overwhelmed.  We tried to keep it smalller, but I should have thought about that when I looked at the amount of sweets we had.  Ha!
Oh well, the kids were in heaven.
Our friends Hans, Holly, Brian, and Cathy came.
The kiddos are Zack, Kelsie, Samantha, Grace, and Luke in the front.
Oh and we can't forget about this cute little thing.  Sweet Kate.  She makes me baby hungry.:)

 This picture makes me smile.
Hooray for turning two!
Thanks for everyone who came, good friends make a party complete.
