I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved our labor day weekend. Life feels extremely busy lately and Matt and I made a pact that this weekend we would slow down. We should really do that more often. :) It turned out to be fabulous for many reasons, but I think one of the main factors was that the weather was perfect. We decided it's amazing the difference that weather makes in your mood. Despite my extreme need to feel warm :) and what I have thought, I am not a summer girl at all. Too many sunny days are dreadful to me and I've been feeling it. Yesterday the weather was crisp, high 70's and I was loving every minute. Seasons make me happy and excited.
Here is a bit of how we spent our weekend...
delicious lettuce wraps with the ketcher's friday night.
bringing in the crisp fall weather and football season with a lot of
yummy blue food on saturday.

queso + chips= perfect football food. matt and grace on the left enjoying the game, ha ha they had no idea i was taking pictures but i wanted to remember this cute moment.
don't you love how intense matt's face is?
grace was loving the game:) afterward we went out and in the car she (completely unprompted) did a 'rah-rah-go-cougars' cheer. all the while, her dad was beaming in the front seat.
labor day we visited friends, ate delicious mexican food at moe's (yUM),
visited a candy shop and played outside. It was heaven.
exploring butterflies.
who needs a little boy? ;)

I hope your labor day was as memorable!
